This weeks video is a "15 Minute Movement" practice of Salute to the Sun



Stepping back to a lunge

This sequence of Surya Namaskar is considered more accessible by many students over the more dynamic "jumping" variation. We step one leg back at a time in order to transition from our forward bend Uttanasana (Intense Stretch Pose) to Adho Mukha Svanasana (Down Face Dog) and likewise we step forward to complete the sequence.

Uttansana - Intense Stretch Pose

Anjaneyasana - low lunge Pose

Ardha Chaturanga Dandasana - Half Four Limbed Rod Pose
